One Fluoride Formers is CF4
This precursor is an easily handled non-toxic gas and does not form HF until subjected to the correct amount/ratio of Hydrogen (to CF4) and the process temperature. Thus no safety precutions on HF need be taken on the input side of the system. Since HF is formed in-situ, HF precautions must be taken on the output side.
